GlobalHealthU:
Goals:
-educate students about global health issues
-to think critically about global health issues
-empower students to work effectively with their partners by promoting a deeper understanding of global health topics
-unite the GlobeMed network in a comprehensive curriculum by encouraging idea sharing and discussion
-inspire students to be powerful advocates and leaders for global health equity

Campaigns: a year-long strategy to mobilize funds and support for Salud Sin Limite projects
Fundraisers:
1. Staple Event: medium-large, independent fundraisers
2. Individual Giving: donations from individuals (using Change.org)
3. Small Business: long-term student run ventures that generate funds by providing a product or service to the campus/community
Goals:
-raise money for our projects
-make a tangible contribution to the partner and Siuna, Nicaragua
-mobilize support for the project, Salud Sin Limite, GlobeMed, and global health equity

Community Building: including our chapter, GlobeMed national, Durham, and other groups and individual on and off campus supporting GlobeMed's mission to strengthen the movement for global health equity
Goals: to develop a strong sense of community and camaraderie around global health and social justice
-Local Engagement: participate in service projects and build relationships with local organizations (SEEDS)
-Solidarity among staff: social events, fun meeting activities, and retreats to promote friendships within our chapter
-Solidarity among chapters: unify our chapters, universities, and communities to advance GlobeMed's cause and this global movement

Finance:
Goals:
-track when, where, and why the chapter is spending money using Google Spreadsheet (will be shared with the National Office and Executive Board)
-understand all financial policies and guidelines of university
-create a budget for the school year

Communications: publicize our chapter and Salud Sin Limite on campus and in the local community
Goals: 
-coordinate with campaign teams to publicize fundraisers
-work with ghU committee to publicize public globalhealthU events
-manage public listservs and send publicity email blasts and updates about our chapter and partner
-maintain and update external web tools (blog, facebook, smugmug)
-take pictures at GlobeMed related events
-work with Community Building committee to publicize community involvement and increase community presence
-communicate chapter activities to National Office

GROW:
Goals:
-help determine project work and itinerary for the trip
-assist in trip planning process: travel, health, safety, legal and financial
-attending and participating in team preparation meetings and on-site reflections
-sharing experience with rest of GlobeMed chapter and community
-cultivating personal relationships on-site
